Slagnäs is a small town in the commune of Arjeplog in the Province of Norrbotten. It is part of the historical Province Lapland. The village has a population of about 50 people which refers to about two persons per hectar. The river Skellefteälven, which crosses the small village, has a total length of 410 km and is Sweden’s fifth biggest river.
